Jennifer Viveiros (she/her) Jennifer has been a student and teacher of movement for over 20 years. From an early age she’s had a desire to educate people about the body and empower them to lead active lifestyles. Jennifer studied exercise physiology and biochemistry at McMaster University In Canada before obtaining her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
In her early years as a Chiropractor she lived in various parts of Australia and worked with local football and rugby teams as part of their rehabilitation team, as well as led functional exercise programs for the community. She completed her yoga teacher training in Australia and has been teaching and leading workshops ever since. Since returning to Toronto in 2015 she has been working in private practice in the GTA. As a senior practitioner she regularly teaches seminars for health practitioners, and mentors other members of the clinical team at Modern Movement in Toronto. She has also implemented and teaches the movement workshops as part of the rehabilitation program at the clinic.
A Muse student since the doors opened 9 years ago she completed her Comprehensive Mat and Reformer Pilates certification through Muse Movement. She is excited to be part of the faculty at Muse and to be able to share her knowledge of anatomy and the human body.
Jennifer grew up in Toronto to Portuguese Parents and she speaks the language fluently. She loves coming to Lisbon to visit and being a part of the Muse training in her favorite city is a dream .
